The ‘Tools’ section contains self-help guidelines and worksheets on a range of topics. They are intended to be picked up and used by farmers or advisers to assess how well things are performing.

Guidelines and worksheets for a series of do-it-yourself, in-field irrigation system calibrations can be downloaded from this site. These are simpler than full irrigation audits, or the full irrigation evaluations we offer.

The calibrations should only take a couple of hours to complete and the knowledge gained is enormously useful. The guidelines include measurement methods, calculations and interpretations of your results. Have a go – you’ll be pleased how easy and useful it is.
